BSG newbie question

    I'm following season 1 on sky one at 12 noon weekdays but is the first episode "33"? I feel there's lots missing....was there a mini series or something like that before episode "33"? Thanks!

    The mini series are the ''first episodes''

    33 is realy the third episode( i think ?) BUT tbh there is enough flashbacks and the like coming that you could get away with not seeing the mini series.

    33 - what an episode that was.

    Yep, there was a 3 hour mini series or pilot which was made about a year before Season 1 afaik.

    The mini series is recommended viewing. I've started watching the whole thing from the start again since season 4 started up, just incase anything stands out in reference to the conclusion of the saga.
