I got an electric golf cart in Dunne Stores over a year ago for 129 euro but it died a slow death recently. So I have decided to splash out on a powakaddy cart (Freeway) and a powakaddy tour bag. Bit of a birthday present for myself. Does anyone have any of these, How do you find them. Would you get 2 rounds of golf out of them. Any bad points about them

You will get 2 rounds in the same day alright.

Have one a year now and never a seconds trouble.

Sorry I can't help you with your question, but I just got one of those Dunnes Stores carts today and although I knew I was taking a punt with it (€129!!) I am now wondering how it went for you. When you say "died a slow death" what happened, did the battery or the motor go?

Have a PowaKaddy freeway myself for about 3 years now. Don't know if I would recommend it though. Tha handle cracked and broke off after a year or so and the original battery didn't last a year. They are a decent trolley but I would say there are a lot of options for you at that price rangeso consider others. A few of the lads I play with have Mocad's and have also had problems with them losing power and gearing problems.

battery was grand, after about six months it started cutting out after 3 holes, and then it might start for a few minutes, then would have to switch it off again and on , killer going up hills when it wasnt working. got it checked out and was told the part and labour to fix it would be more than the trolly it self, you probably have the same cart as me as i got it around fathers day as well last year
