I don't know which one to get! I probably use the M50 four times per month, and occasionally use the M1 or M4 toll. I can't understand from the websites if the amount you pay for the initial reader (to get the €2 fee) is a payment for the device, or if this is a balance available that will need to be topped up when you drop beneath a certain amount. I suspect that in other countries it would be the latter, but given our ability to rip people off, I doubt that is the case here. Could anyone clarify?

God I've not even decided which thread on boards.ie to discuss it on, or research it on yet. Considering there are so many.

I've registered as I expect to use it about 20-30 times a month.

I thought if you have a tag already, you get registered automatically?
My tag operator wrote to me to tell me they registered me automagically- no names cos I'm not touting for them.
