Where to send the horses???

    4 Horses in Kilkenny about to be taken in by Cork Horse Pound and more than likely be put down in 5 days.

    Has anyone any other suggestions about where I could contact to have them taken in and possibly rehomed or something?

    I wonder would the Irish Horse Welfare Trust be able to help? www.ihwt.ie

    Post about it on www.petsireland.invisionzone.com also. I'm sure I remember one of the rescue groups on there getting a shetland pony out of a pound.

    Try asking Cottage Rescue if they can suggest somewhere (they took in the Shetland). I don't know if they're in a position to taking in 4 new horses right now but they may be able to offer suggestions :)
