Anyone any idea how you can mute or reduce the keypad volume on the above alarm system.
It seems I am waking up my 2 year old daugher at 6.30am each morning  and the wife is not too happy

Basically I am turning off the alarm (5 digit pin), alarm keys are pretty loud and then the alarm tells me its disarming,

    Any advise is appreciated

    tks

    Earlsie

Pour a glass of water on it. That should do the trick.

    HKC Link

HKC is the make of alarm. The manual is in the above link.
    Have a gawk there.

Otherwise the water will do the trick

Should be posted in the security thread and not Greystones.

If you wish to turn off the "systm arming /Disarming" you need your engineer code (default is 4567) then go into the devices menu -> RKP Config Menu-> then turn audio A/D to NO! Problem solved! NO nedd for water!
