48v heater element

    Anybody know were I can get a 48v heater element in Ireland, Have a 1kw turbine and want to connect to it for heating water in house, thanks all.

    Elemex.ie should have what you're after.
    However, are you planning to just heat water with your turbine? This is a total waste and you'd be far better off using a solar water heater to do it, you wont produce much hot water with a turbine rated at 1KW peak.
    Using the 48V immersion heater as a dump load when your battery bank is charged, however is a great idea.
