Anyone know where I can get a mobile phone unlocked?

Looking to get a mobile on the vodafone network unlocked as I have attempted codes but now have completely locked it? Anyone any ideas of anywhere local that does this? thanks

If you've completely locked it up you will have to ring Vodafone for the PUK code.

Hey, I unlock mobile phones (most makes/models). If you go out to the car boot sale on a sunday we'll be there. Pm me if you want more info.

Just letting people know, Now we can unlock pretty much any phone from anywhere in the world and done within minutes while you wait. Pm me if you need a phone unlocked and I will tell you the price. Meeting up to unlock your phone is no problem either. :rolleyes:

Hi Sully, just to inform you that in that thread only the old Nokias are unlocked free. Its not possible to simply unlock by code all new models of Nokias or any manufacturer for your information. If you actually read that thread you would realize many people meet up with 'Columba rad' (the unlocker) IN DUBLIN to get their phones unlocked and they pay. I have equipment worth thousands just for this service so please don't try undermine me in this field by telling people they can get it unlocked for free, because its not possible. And yes, Mr Columba does provide a good service but would people be from Kilkenny be prepared to travel to DUBLIN to get a phone unlocked?.

p.s. Just an example, To unlock a Samsung Tocco = My machine worth 195euro + access to a specialised server in netherlands which I pay to use + Cables + The Skill acquired over years of doing this.

So next time before you try to undermine someone really think do you actually know what your talking about?

If you have a problem with my post - either 1) Report it or 2) PM me. I do not take very kindly to that type of attitude towards me, or any other poster on these forums. So I would appreciate if you would just relax a little and realise that the world is not actually out to get you, even if you are the most experienced person on the earth providing the worlds best service at the worlds best price.

The posters phone just might have been possible to get unlocked for free via that thread, without having to head down to a car boot sale. If you wish to offer your services, PM the mods in Mobiles & PDAs for permission and perhaps you can offer the service just like Columba but to those closer to your area. You will find that as you are equally entitled to offer your services, I am equally entitled to refer the poster to a thread in the Mobile & PDA forum allowing the poster to make up his/her own mind about where and who to go in order get the phone unlocked. Its called being helpful - not undermining your great skills.

Once again, I direct you to PM if you have any further issues rather then derailing this thread further with off topic nonsense.

I understand that you were trying to be helpful but its the way you worded that post. I felt that you had a condescending attitude in it. You have to remember the reason I also posted in this thread was to be helpful. :cool: I have unlocked many fellows boardies phones and they are always delighted with the services & prices I offer.
