    Secular people might be shocked, but not church. Church will welcome Aliens as brothers. - said Gabriel Funes, main astronomer of Vatican, and science adviser of Pope, so that's the official Church opinion. Same was shown in newest publication of L'Osservatore Romano,

    Was that said too fast? Is it still the same religion which prisoned Galileo just because he said that our planet is not center of the Universe?

    Yes for Jill Tarter, director of SETI: "The discovery of alien superbeings might not be so corrosive to God, or at least, religion which we know today."

    Douglas Vakoch (SETI) said: "Maybe people would say that we needed a religion, but today, we grew up and don't need it no more."


    So what do you think, would that be the end of today's religion?
