urgent nfs problem

    hi i'm seeing this error on the nfs client machines.
    10.224.34.12 is nfs server:

    kernel: lockd: server 10.224.34.12 not responding, timed out

    What does this mean and how do i fix it?

    its ok i fixed it.

    was a dns problem
