Seeing as this has been asked a million times on the other threads and i am sure we will have alot in tonight heres a few of the ways to watch the wsop.

The below links should open up windows media player and start the stream automatically. Its by far the best quailty so if it works for you and they are showing the event you want to watch i suggest using this.

Failing all that a number of web applications also allow you to watch the stream.

When using sopcast don't actually watch it in the sopcast player. Download VLC media player and do the following to play through it.

With it running on Sopcast open VLC, go to file, open network stream, click http (3rd down) paste:
http://localhost:8902/tv.asf and click ok.

Myp2p will give you a list of the events that are being shown live and also a list of the applications to use and which are currently the best quailty. Just go to live sports and other events for the poker stuff.

If you go to the second link it tells you "next live broadcast in 1hr 10mins", i guess the top link will work for you when there is a live broadcast !!! maybe !

Yeah its just the media player in sopcast is crap. For some reason if you use sopcast for the feed but run it with VLC it works alot better.

The last feed i posted with vlc is class and opens alot quicker than the first one cause its not as busy.

Just open VLC, go to file, open network stream, click http (3rd down) paste and add a H to the front:

Don't need to have anything else open its a direct feed.

which link did you get working, I had it working on Wednesday, but not tonight. Is there a way of connecting straight to the play, I link to the site asking me to download software, I didnt have to do this on Wednesday.

This one works for me Ollie. Didn't work at first, but i downloaded the silver thing an just kept refreshing till it worked. Took about 5 mins to work but its ok now.

it's cause it's gonna be one of the espn shows.. they wouldnt let people watch it beforehand.. not good marketing sense i suppose

This link is working for better quality. Only thing is you have to open it in vlc as it doesn't seem to work in media player.
