    I had a rant a while back about boyztoyz, Id like to apologise as Ive had nothing but a great service since then, moving on;

    I am just looking for general tips on cleaning air filters. I was driving my buggy without its cover and now the filter is filthy. I know there is air filter cleaners but i am more interested in some other techniques which are cheaper as i am a tight ass.

    I used to rinse it with nitro fuel on my old car but fuel is just too expensive for that.

    Any tips or recommendations welcome,

    Unleaded petrol, white spirit, or kerosene.
    All will work.
