Does anyone know if it is fairly easy to get a job in either Aldi or Lidl? My current job ends in september and so I need to find something for the winter until I get my LC done and I like how you can work part time for 15 hrs a week and the wages are pretty good. Would I have a good chance of getting a job there if I can provide a good reference from my last employer? Thanks! :)

    Not really.
They prefer to hire foreign workers, as the work is doable with poor english, and Irish people only work in lidl/aldi for a very short time before moving on.
They rather have a polish person/etc who will not move on and stick with them.

    tbh.

    Hi OP

I would say so. My brother worked there for a little while before he went back to Uni. They are always crying out for part time staff, especially those willing to work flexible hours. The money is pretty good (not great I must ad, but too bad at all) Your free and available and willing. All the qualities they are looking for in the short term. Go get an application form and good luck.
