Was looking at this, you can play two player on the one console right?

Will I need a second nunchuck to play two player?

Tackling is almost impossible, but being able to make off the ball runs is cool

Tackling is a little difficult at first but if you try a combination of man marking and then dragging the nearest defender to the player with the ball. I prefer defending here as you have total control over the whole thing instead of the AI doing it for you. You can man mark or zonal mark if you want.

After the initial learning the controls are done, it's absolutely fantastic.

Great game to play with a few mates before a night out. Endless laughs

    Yes and Yes.

how do you set it up for 2 player mode?

i haven't delved into it in much detail yet, but it appeared to me that you can only either compete against the computer, or against someone else online. plus, how would 2 player mode work when there are arrows on screen which would show your opponent all of your intended moves ie direction, intended passes etc? do the arrows disappear off screen during 2 player model?

    cheers

Yes you can play two player. Just start a friendly and you can add a player before you both pick your teams.

The arrows don't matter that much actually. I find that i concentrate on my own team and dont really look at what the other player is doing. Occasionally you might get a glance alright where there pointing.

Have to say I was blown away with this game, it was the first soccer game I have played that I can actually hold an interest in. Always like the Pro-Evo series but felt the last couple of games on the PS2 weren't that great but this has given the game a whole new appeal.

The controls take a little bit of getting used to - maybe an hour before they become second nature. I found doing the tutorials was good but once I got the hang of it when showing friends you were better off going right into a game and going slow through things with them. The most difficult thing for my friends was getting used to keeping the pointer on the screen.

It has universal appeal among my friends from lads who were never any good at football games to seasoned Pro-Evo and FIFA players.

The online play lags a bit but the 2 player is brilliant.

Single player is good also to hone your skills but nothing beats the thrill of the last minute winner against your mate.

Buy it....you will not regret it :)
