    Hi :)

Am looking at buying a HTC. No really intrested in the one with QWERTY keyb.

Am gonna use it primarily when in the US and will need mail access and radio and some tunes. It must be triband at least

Which is best - really impressed with the HTC Touch Diamond...or maybe the cruise or even the standard htc touch (not sure of the name)

    Any help appreciated, ;)

The Touch-Cruise is quadband so it should work in the US.
(i think it's triband for data but almost positive that's ok as well (for some us networks atleast)- someone else here should know exactly though).

I have a TC and overall i like it.
Very nice mp3 player on it, Tomtom works great, phone app is nicely integrated with outlook contacts, push email is there, fm radio is decent, photo app is nice and intuitive, battery-life isn't bad either if you don't overuse it.
I installed spb mobileshell and it works very well.
Opera Mobile is included as an alternative browser (many prefer it to PocketIE).

Couple of niggles though- the touchscreen is not the most responsive in the world when using a stylus- it seems to be geared towards use with your fingers instead via the TouchFLO interface (which itself is ok).
Subtle lag sometimes if using a lot of apps.
Not sure about the video issue- haven't really used it much yet for video.
Overall i'm happy with it though.

Admittedly the Diamond and Raphael are probably slicker.
They seem to be a new generation of devices focussed on usability especially, while retaining the high-specs.
Maybe someone here has got one..

not 100% sure if they are - the one i was looking @ said it had a 12 mth warranty. I have e-mailed the seller to see if it's the UK version
If it is then all is good
