Hi i'm going on holidays next week and have bought a sim card for the country in question. Now i know my phone needs to be unlocked for it to work but all the free unlock sites i come across dont have the Nokia 6300 in their list of phones.

Can anyone help! Thanks in advance

    Contact your service provider...

Your service provider will probably want to get you to pay off the rest of your contract. Mine did, said that the phone was their property until my contract was complete, and by using a different sim in in i was voiding the contract. But that was 3 so maybe you might have better luck with your service provider.

If you on prepay i think they generally charge you, or if you just tell them your going on holidays etc, they might do it for free, maybe that was just in the good old days.

If all those fail, there are shops that unlock and repair phones, think €20 might get your phone unlocked there.
