Taxi Lost Property

Left my wallet in a taxi Saturday night. Just wondering where I should check in case it was handed in. I've checked my local garda station and the carriage office, but no luck. Would it be worth checking a couple of city centre garda stations, or would a taxi driver be most likely to leave it into the carriage office?

Carriage Office is still your official point of call, man. If you had any ID/address/contact details in the wallet, you would have most likely have had it returned by now as it generally is far easier to a driver to return it to the punter than into the CO. That said, there may be a slim chance that the driver may not have picked it up yet; hopefully in your case

Was there much in it, BTW?

50 quid or so, more the hassle of replacing stuff like rail passes, etc.
    Cheers for the reply anyway.

I got a taxi from Four Courts to at 1pm to Mountpleasant Avenue and back to courts on 14/3/18 and i let my keys fall on floor. Can the taxi driver please contact me. MOD EDIT: Not a good idea to post phone numbers on the web.
