Just wondering which hdmi cable one would recommend as there seems to be various types / prices for the cables. One site had a monster brand cable for over 100 euro while others websites have other brand cables at 20 euro.

Is there that much of a difference in quality between brands ?

Don't waste your money, unless you are going above 30m the 20 euro cable is fine.

Got a non packaged (just had connected plastic tag) Philips branded one in Tesco for 9.99euro recently. They were selling what appeared to be the exact same cable in a blister pack for double the price. Plugs appeared to be same and writing on the cable was the same.

Some brands beginning with B or M are not worth it.

About 10 Euro is right.

Avoid cheaper than 8 Euro

Lidl have them for 9.99, if it's shíté bring it back, no quibble return for 28 days.
