    For a bricks & mortar store, i think Conn's have a good selection. Online, I have bought them from www.7dayshop.com. Bear in mind that you can mix and match most Lee, Kood and Cokin square filters, mounts and adapter rings. The adapater rings especially are much cheaper if you buy the Kood versions online, and do exactly the same job.

    The best place... In a word, the Internet. :)

    I got mine from B&H. All that Arciphel said is correct. You can mix n match all you like. Just make sure they are all from the P series. Suitable for most SLR lenses up to 82mm (i think). You'd want to check that out for yourself.

    I must say that 7dayshop.com have a good service, and you can order other goodies at the same time.

    Of course *bay is brilliant for all things photographic.

    I'm into film rather than digital, and you can pick up film-related stuff so cheaply, now that so many are going digital.....
