Apart from the Celtic Whiskey Shop (which is excellent), where is a good place to buy whisky - particularly scotch? Molloys is good, but I know their stock.

2 Polish fellas in Portlaoise were caught with 70 liters of whiskey stolen from a distillery. Mite be no harm to ask them!

depends what youre after.....o'briens usually ok or redmonds in ranelagh. all quite expensive though. If you are buying a few bottles you can get good deals online.
Best bet is in the airports if you know anyone travelling abroad. Some distilleries bring out bottles specifically for this market, usually a good tennner cheaper than celticwhiskey shop etc.

    Stansted is great for whiskey.

World Wide Wines in Waterford has a decent selection (not near Celtic Whisky Shop, but better than Molloys).
