    Fixtures -

St. Kilda V Fremantle - Freo
    Hawthorn V Kangaroos - Hawks
Port Adelaide V Richmond - Port
West Coast V Geelong - Cats
Brisbane Lions V Adelaide - Crows
    Melbourne V Sydney - Swans
    Carlton V Essendon - Blues
Collingwood V Western Bulldogs - Dogs

    On Setanta -

Saturday - 10:00 Live AFL - Brisbane vs. Adelaide (Repeated at 23:00)

Saturday - 16:00 AFL - Hawthorn vs. Kangaroos

Sunday - 07:30 Live AFL - Collingwood vs. Western Bulldogs (Repeated at 16:05 and 20:20)

    Eagles to get destroyed.

Game of the weekend could be the Pies against the Dogs. I've gone for the Dogs as Travis Cloke is suspended and the Dogs are the highest scoring team in the competition.

Friday Night Football sees Freo looking to repeat last week's performance. The Saints have been woeful lately so reluctantly I'm going for Feo.

Hawks/Roos and Lions/Crows are both pretty juicy matchups as well.

Another good weekend of football ahead.

Hard to argue with any of those predictions, except I'd maybe take Lions to beat the crows. maybe.

Typical unreliable shite Dockers. Every time I tip them they fuck up. Useless.

You'll get one right yet Xavi!

Hawks lose and Power are 25 points down to the Tigers.

Big win for the Roos. I've no idea how the game went, but I'm surprised they won by that much.

Another surprise, Tigers beat Power by 4.

Missed this during the week as I had to fly back to Ireland for a week at the last minute on Tuesday so was caught up with all that for a while. I did manage to put in my footy tips for the week on Monday though - I usually do, just in case something comes up for the week, so I'll post my predictions from that.

St. Kilda V Fremantle - Saints
    Hawthorn V Kangaroos - Hawks
Port Adelaide V Richmond - Tigers
West Coast V Geelong - Cats
Brisbane Lions V Adelaide - Lions
    Melbourne V Sydney - Swans
    Carlton V Essendon - Blues
Collingwood V Western Bulldogs - Dogs

As for the games that have already been played, I reckoned I'd tip the Saints to beat the Dockers, as the game was in Melbourne. I thought the Tigers would beat Port, as Port have gone completely crap and their season took a huge hit after the loss to Carlton, and I very rarely tip against the Lions in the Gabba as they're pretty strong up there. As for the West Coast v Geelong game, there was no competition there at all really, although have to say I was shocked with the extent of the win, and also shocked with North beating Hawthorn.
As for the remaining three games, Swans should win easily enough, hopefully the Blues can keep the run going and keep themselves in the top eight, and I reckon the Doggies will have enough firepower to beat a weakened Collingwood team.

Well what an absolutely woeful weekend. Eagles got murdered and I got only 3 out of 8 tips correct.

    Results:

    St. Kilda 10 5 (65) v Fremantle 8 9 (57)

    Hawthorn 10 16 (76) v North Melbourne 15 13 (103)

    Port Adelaide 19 9 (123) v Richmond 20 7 (127)

    West Coast 5 17 (47) v Geelong 28 14 (182)

    Brisbane 11 17 (83) v Adelaide 10 10 (70)

    Melbourne 11 8 (74) v Sydney 17 12 (114)

    Carlton 15 11 (101) v Essendon 20 16 (136)

    Collingwood 13 11 (89) v Western Bulldogs 15 9 (99)

Geelong and the Bulldogs have already pretty much guaranteed themselves finals football now.

Hawthorn are starting to struggle with Buddy again only kicking one goal in their game. Fev is on fire (15 goals in his last 2 games) and is hot on Franklin's heals in the race for the Coleman.

Feckin Dockers were shite. Last time I ever tip them, though I say that every time.

A strong win for Geelong, the Bulldogs do it again, and Hawthorn hiccup against the Kanga's. Meanwhile, Sydney go about their business and the winner looks like it will be one of the top 4. That perhaps is stating the obvious.

Brisbane get the bragging rights over Adelaide in their 'head-to-head'. St.Kilda and Carlton are still in top-8 contention, as are Richmond, but surely its beyond Power at this stage, who shared a very close match with Richmond but came out on the wrong side. Esendon may have got themselves a ficker of false hope.
