Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just want to take a minute to explain the reasons for breaking up the old PSNI Recruitment thread that so many of you had become attached to.

Originally, the PSNI Recruitment thread was in the Work & Jobs forum, and it was moved into Emergency Services when I requested its creation.

The forum grew quite quickly in some areas, and the need for expansion was clear. It was split into Emergency Services General, and Emergency Services Recruitment but this wasn't enough for the policing side, and thus we created seperate Garda and PSNI Recruitment fora.

The Garda Recruitment forum is ticking along nicely, and I felt that the PSNI Recruitment forum should receive equal time and effort.

The problem was, everything was lumped into one thread, and while it created a community of its own, it wasn't helpful to the newer visitors, and certainly didn't justify a forum of its own with just one active thread.

The forum is now split into multiple stages of the recruitment process, but please, don't let that stop you creating a thread of your own for any related reason.

I understand the natives are a little restless, but I did what I did for the betterment of the forum AND users - new and old alike.

    Thanks for your continued support.
