1 year work visa for America?

Hey, Im just wondering if theres a way to get a 1 year work visa for America? I dont want the J1 visa, as its only for the summer. My plan is to go to America to work and hopefully get sponsored to stay(how hard is it?). Any suggestions?

Near impossible.

For sponsorship you would want to be exceptional at what work you do as your sonosored employer has to petition the request for you based on the premise that no American who is hireable can do the job he is attempting to employ you for. And because of that employers don't like sponsoring people unless they will be a huge asset to their company because of all the paperwork and fees that go with the process.

Try Canada.

They have just signed off on a new J visa, its expected to start in a few months and only 20,000 visas are being issued a year

there is no limit ot the visas, they said they expect about 20,00 applicants find some good info here:
