For all of you who have at some point switched from using a PC to Mac, was there one little moment that you realised you would not be switching back?

Mine just happened a week or so ago. I have had my macbook for almost a year now and love it but this just drove home how much I prefer it.

I was talking to a friend in Australia on skype with video chat on. We were chatting away and Suddenly I heard the familiar windows error pop-up sound and just before the connection was cut off I heard her say " Ah Fu...."

    I really don't miss that.

About 5 minutes after turning my MacBook on. Seriously :)

Although I had been using Linux for quite a while at that stage so I was used to not running Windows. But I was looking for something that wasn't Windows and didn't require hours (or in the case of my wireless, a solid week) of configuration to get everything working. OS X fulfilled both criteria.

As soon as I realised I didn't need to deal with viruses, malware & spyware :D

Christ, can't beat that. And i was going to say six weeks after i bought my first mac ( november 2006), i found myself saying ( for the first 6 weeks) 'it can't be this easy', so after 6 weeks i realized it was that easy and that is when i knew the chances of be going back to windows was slim to none.

I had been using Macs for over 2 years before I bought one of my own, so I knew before I got it really. Plus I'm not likely to change my mind after dropping over a grand on a MBP.
