you need to save the planet 3 homepage as a bookmark and then set that as your home page for the browser

Try that...haven't an e90....love to know what you think of it, seriously considering it........3 have the HTC now......it's going to be one or the other for me next......

You have to spoof the user agent to a phone that 3 sells.. If not, no luck.. Kinda silly now when they even sell sim-only, kinda defeats the purpose.

when 3 sells you a phone, built into the phones firmware are some kind of digital certificates or something that tell planet three that the phone is authorised to connect to certain services. if ur phone is a sim free phone, you may not be able to access certain services such as the three music store or games ringtones etc...
i got the pages working on my sim free moto v3x but couldnt download any pay per use data.
3 Ireland do not sell sim cards without phones...........yet!

    Wrong.

I have ported an old simcard of mine over to three to use with my e51 as a hsdpa modem when im badly stuck for internet access. Gave me €20 free credit for porting too :D

As above.... they are available at any 3 shop. You cannot get them through CPW or other 3 agents, only in a 3 shop. Have got 2 of them recently. One for myself and one for my Dad. They cost €9 and come with €10 credit on them.

As I said in the post above, you can spoof the user agent, so that you can access any page on Planet3. You can use the music store, msn messenger, skype, gmail, 3mail etc, but you have to spoof the 3 server that you are connecting with one of 3's authorised handsets, e.g. n73, 6288, k610i, etc. So as we can see, there is nothing as high tech as digital certs, just a simple user agent string check when you connect.

No. It is done with the browser itself.

For example you could spoof three into thinking that firefox was a mobile browser using an add-on such as this.

Why don't you just go into the shop and prove that you are over 18?

No way around it, you cannot provision your account for over-18 content via user agent spoofing, sorry.

But i'm well over 18 and a pay monthly customer, why can't I access over 18 content, do all the networks ban adult sites on your mobile?

if you tube is allowed so should red tube...
