Top of my must see list. His movies always bring me back to the days when action movies made me want to do the moves.

Well the plot in the first one is Tony Jaa + some random stolen artifact = ridiculous ass kicking. I expect and hope for something equally shallow with this one.

The fact that such horrible films can drum up such excitement and enthusiasm is testement to Jaa's unbelievable ability.

Must say after Ong-Bak and Warrior King I wouldnt have thought a new Tony Jaa film would have got me excited (Dont get me wrong Jaa is amazing in both of them and the action is superb just thought we might have seen everything he had to offer) but this one looks very interesting and he seems to have taken things up a level:eek:

I love the idea of bringing in other martial arts. Without doubt one of the greatets martial artists ever.....its just a shame he lacks the charisma of Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan.

    Tony Jaa Goes AWOL
    Kick-boxing star leaves Ong-bak 2 unfinished.
    by Orlando Parfitt, IGN UK

UK, July 28, 2008 - Tony Jaa has apparently gone AWOL on the set of Ong-bak 2.

According to Variety, the producer of the martial arts sequel held a press conference on Friday and told reporters the Siamese actor - who is starring and making his directing debut on the film - had been missing since June.

The film was running behind schedule and over budget, and according to Jaa's family, the kick-boxing sensation had been suffering from stress and gone to meditate in the jungle.

The film generated serious buzz after footage was shown at Cannes this year, and Prachya Pinkaew - who directed the first Ong-bak - may be bought in to edit the footage and direct any additional scenes to ensure the film can be released.

He said "Jaa has little experience directing. He's spent nearly $7.8 million. The film is almost finished, so I'll try to see what I can do with the footage that he's shot."

I cannot wait for this film Jaa is a mentalist! Hope the shooting was finished on the fights, who cares about the story.
