College of Managment & IT based in Bray.

Has anyone ever done a course through this company. or have any opinons on them??

I noticed a course I would like to do for career progression but very hesitant in case they are not all they say they are...

Also just checking this accreditation people - Asset if it is recognised here?
    ASET (UK)
ASET is a UK awarding body providing genuine accredited awards,
and is licensed by the UK Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
(QCA). Accreditation for ASET distance learning courses is provided
by Study House which is a licensed UK ASET centre. ASET awards
    Levels, 2, 3 and 4 roughly equate to FETAC levels 4, 5 and 6
    respectively.

Check out how well recognised ASET are. No point doing a course that isn't recognised.

No opinion either way of that college.

    Hiya,

Currently doing Dip in small Business Finance with them. The accreditations are ligit and they are recently Fetec registered.

Their ok , but found that some of the guidance I asked for when trying to complete the assigments went over my head and I had to question several times. ( but maybe I'm a bit slow on the uptake!)

I suppose it depends on what you want to do and how you want to proceed afterwards. I work in the small business sectorand really just wanted a handle on terminology ready when meeting with auditors etc, but found a lot of what they taught I allready know.

If you look up http://www.study-house.com/accreditations.htm it shows you the accreditation scales

    Hope this helps!

+1 to that. As lifelong learning and up-skilling becomes more and more important, accreditation is vital as you never know when you might want to tag another course onto your learning. A recognised and accredited course allows you to do that, others do not.

CMIT are FETAC since May ’08. Just check that your intended course of study is one of the FETAC awards. Just because an institution is FETAC or HETAC for one award doesn’t mean that it is for all.
