iphone comms board replacement?

Hi,
Posted here a few months ago about wifi not working on my iphone anymore.
Finally accepted the fact that the Comms board needs to be replaced.
Does anybody know of any place in Ireland that can do this?
Tried FM mobiles on Georges street (which are usually reliable) and they said they could do it but rang me back and said they could not?
I think they restored it in the hope that it would fix the wifi problem and then tell me they fixed it and charge me for it...
Any ideas on any place that could fix it would be appreciated.
There are places in the UK but I am trying to avoid shipping as the part and labour will be expensive enough.

Strange reply?

Anyway I decided to chance my arm with apple support (phone was bought in the states). I think I made a mess of it though. The guy asked me for the serial number which I gave him, I then offered information to him without him asking. I told him that the phone was a present from the states and he then stopped me in my tracks and said that apple uk ( I though I was on to Ireland?) cannot accept phones for repair from the states. I told him I was willing to pay and just wanted the phone fixed but he said it was against apples policy. He went on to tell me (off the record) to google the problem as there are companies in the uk who will repair it for me.
Problem is they are charging 180 euro (cheapest I could find, it goes up to 220). So I have accepted the fact that the phone is fecked and will just have to wait for the new iphone to come out.

Sham - if you buy the parts from eBay (should be roughly 60 euro IIRC), I'll give this a go for a nominal fee, I've tried fixing my own iPhone but it was unfortunately beyond repair - I have had the comms board apart etc etc though, so I've a reasonable idea of what I'm at.
Only take me up on this if it's just sitting there gathering dust as there's a 50:50 chance I'll make a botch of this, I don't normally do repairs but I've gotten to know my way around the inside of the phone at this stage - PM if yer interested...!

Cheers for the reply and the offer.
I still use the phone as it works fine apart from the wifi and bluetooth, I use edge to get my data and it works a treat.
As much as I would love to get the wifi fixed I don't think I could take the chance if it was only 50:50 that you could do it without fecking up the phone.
I hope I don't sound ungrateful , I appreciate the offer but I think I will pass and wait for the 3g iphone. I promised my G/F she could have my iphone once I get the new one.

Have a bid in on ebay for a replacement comms board.
Does anyone know somewhere that would fit this for me?
