    Ooo latin :P
    Tough language.
ive only one left 2 do and thats metalwork and i dont reli care about it anyways but ill get it over and done with like...
I thought my examiner was cool enough.
He laughed with us before exams and gave us a few minutes extra at the end to finish off stuff.
He was serious fun, unlike most examiners but was still quite confidential in other ways.
I should get him a card or summat put i think a hug would be more suited :P

I definately failed History and Maths.

The rest was ok. Irish and Science were surprisingly easy.

How is it rubbish? He asked what did everyone think of it and I answered him?

I thought that it was fine. Most of the papers were quite fair although Maths Paper 2 and English Paper 2 were surprising. I didn't study for anything until the night before which was a stupid idea, I'm definitely not going to do it again even for summer tests, it just put on way too much pressure. I'm guessing I done pretty well overall though! :p

It wasn't as hard as i thought it would be, all my teachers were making out as if it was impossible and the only way you could possibly get an A or B is if you studied 2 hours a night.. i did yeah XD lol
I studied the night before for most of my exams and for some of them i studied in the lunch time before hand im pretty happy with how i did, i'd say i got most B's, an A or two and one or two C's.
i wonder how i would of done if i actually worked.. lol

Ooh look its my first post here. :pac:

My junior cert? I did literally no study for anything.
For my technology exam I drew a huge hamster on a page, left after 35 minutes, got into a fight with the examiner and stormed out.
I did appaling. I did all honours too. I have no idea why.
3rd year has been my worst school year. I am so happy it is over. All the hassle from the teachers had me miserable. Yock!
    Oh well.

in my irish paper 2, i ticked answer through english instead of answer through irish. will i still get marked?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 709 ✭✭✭tracker-man

course you will :) They aren't gonna dock marks for ticking the wrong box. I didn't bother ticking it, I mean, its the Irish exam so it has to be answered in Irish, right?! :) I don't see why they wouldn't mark it, its all over now anway so no point dwelling on it, enjoy the SUMMER!

As for "!!!", you should be dead proud, great job, fair play to ya.

I severely doubt they'd take marks off you for that...
In general they mark your paper for how you do in the subject, not fo the mistakes you make on the first page...
Dont worry, you wont get docked :P

personally i thought it was easy and i did all honours in the subjects eng ire maths hist geog science cspe fren german wood tg. stressful nights studying but i hope to successfully pull through with 4 to 6 a's. it is so overrated but still needs to be approached with many hours of studying.

did anyone else find the charles darwin comprehension in eng p1 difficult to read??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 183 ✭✭TransititionMan

    Yeah!
Forgot to quote but I agree wit d fella above me. =]
Done honours everything except irish which I dont do full stop, bing that I'm English an all :P
Also, yes, I found the Chrales Darwin stuff hard enough to read and had to just guess some words. :P
Got through it in the end though, spent the correct times alotted for each section so I finished with the correct amount of time to spare as I'd planned.
I then read over it and walked out. =]
