We are an originals three-piece in the Limerick/Clare area looking to add a singer who is both able to take the lead vocals and to act as a dual vocalist. Supporting guitar by way of rhythm and riffs would be an asset. We've gigged successfully with bass, guitar and drums/vocals but are looking to expand the sound.
We're into Audioslave, Metallica, early Chilli Peppers, Frank Black, Q.O.T.S.A, Rush, Neil Young, Grant Lee Buffalo, good House AND fUNK, Ragga, Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, King Crimson, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Roses and Rolling Stones....but we're not attempting to sound like them.
We've shoved some earlier live demo's and stuff onto myspace.com/contrawave.
