Was the belt to the PS pump changed, or just the cambelt?

    Good question.

What the OP describes sounds very like a slipping belt.

    Enough fluid in it ?

90% sure it was the belt to the PS pump. Ive also checked the fluid levels and they are fine. The noise will not happen untill a min or two after cold start, and it does seem to come from nearer the rear bottom of the engine passenger side and not near the front at the belts

Hmm, still has the all the hallmarks of a slipping belt. Do you by any chance have the part numbers of what was replaced? (they might be listed on the invoice you were handed).

EDIT : Just a thought, but I suppose if the pump is anyway faulty and putting excess load on the belt, then that may explain the slip that gives off the squeal.
