    Anyone have experience of these?
I see Pro-Fit in Blackrock are pushing them, and I wondered if anyone had an opinion (no shortage around here ).

They are one of the custom fit only brands and have a pretty good reputation. Not flashy and no major advertising but quality solid clubs.

Well a good friend of mine plays with them. Won the East of Ireland Amateur Open Championship this year so they can't be that bad. ;)

You'll actually find that alot of the better irons out there (for bigger and smaller brands) are actually forged by the same couple of companies.

Agree with f22 there. Many branded clubs come out of the same workshop. It is only the brands quality control that can dictate any differences really.

I have a set of KZG Evolutions for the past year now. Previously I had been using a set of Wilson Prostaffs. The difference for me was like night and day. Of course, I can't say that I wouldn't have noticed a similar difference between my old clubs and any other brand, but there is definitely an extra confidence level when you are using clubs that have made for you and you only.

I have never used forged clubs prior to this set and I must say that the feedback I get from each club is just excellent. They really do have a wonderful feel. The PC III's are the cast version of the evolutions if you were looking for something a little less pricey.

Colin Kirwan in Profit Golf does the fitting and makes the clubs for you. All in all, I found the whole experience great and the club fitting alone was very eye-opening. We eventually settled on Novatech Tour 100 stepless shafts and just these shafts on their own added at least 15 or 20 yards to each club in my bag. IMHO, the set was worth every penny.

Also, I've carefully looked after my clubs and give them a wipe after each shot, keep clubhead covers on them all the time and wash them when I get home. Despite them being forged irons, they are still immaculate after perhaps 40 or 45 rounds and long periods at the range too. I know they'll last a decently long time.

Incidentally, there are ahndfull of tour players using them I believe. I just can't remember who they are just now....

What price would you be looking at for going to a fitter and getting new clubs (3 to PW) ?

Probably between e900 and e1200, depending on what you're buying

I work in Pro-Fit Golf, it all depends on the type of shaft you get really, the shaft is the most important aspect of custom fitting, its the engine of the club if you know what i mean. So depending on whether you get graphite or steel, the price can vary. Typically your talking between 85 and 115 per iron.
