Hi folks. I inherited this mower from my brother and it's running low on oil, so I want to change the oil and top it up. Can anyone tell me for definite whether this model uses 2- or 4-stroke oil? I have some of the Halfords garden equipment 2-stroke stuff, but I just wanted to check it's the right one before putting it in.

Also, does this model have a drain plug for the oil, or how do you go about changing the oil? Thanks in advance.

    this is a 4-stroke model,use 4-cycle oil
10w30 should be fine, oil drain plug on
this model maybe underneath the mowing deck,
when you look make sure you tip the mower on its side
with the carb facing up.fill the oil thru the
check level plug.takes 0.6l of oil.

Thanks for that, will swap the Halfords 2-stroke garden equipment oil for the 4-stroke version, hopefully!
