Record from TV using Hard Drive Device

    or similar.

    I could get a DVD recorder, but really want the hard drive record from TV.

    I did see before a device by Sony that could record to SD cards from the TV to be played back on the PSP.

    But I'm looking for something like that, to record from TV to hard drive without memory disks or anything.

    If that makes sense.

    Something to record from TV without disks or tape.

    There is the Neuros OSD. You can plug in an external hard drive and it will record in MP4.

    I think the Archos range of PMPs do that? e.g. the Archos 605

    The Archos does do it but a add-on is needed.
