As advised here, i'm going to bring my two classics to Terenure on July 6th, in the hope of selling one or both. Would I be better off getting the cars on the club stands? If so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks!

You'd probably have to email someone who was the organiser of the former, *ahem* ;) and see if he would be able to add your name on !

However Terenure are very strict that cars on Club stands cannot have "For Sale" sign in there. They have a special area for all cars for sale and I think they charge €20 for it. I believe I have the form here and can email to you or you could download it here http://www.irishjagclub.ie/

.......just click the link on the bottom left !

I would like to go as I have never been to this show. Unfortunately on July 6th I will be driving my Alfa from Verona to Venice.

I plan to go in the W123, though haven't entered; if I get waved in on the day all well and good - really it depends on the weather if I have company with me.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

    Hi all,
i'll be attending the show with my W123 280E and its my first time as an 'exhibitor'.. just wondering what is the etiquette/done thing as regards do you leave your car open/unlocked or?
I'll be on the MB club stand, but seeing as its a long day, and i'll naturally want to have a wander round and look at the other cars on show, and just wanted to know whats the norm

    cheers

    Locked.................ALWAYS !

Unless you are actually in/at the car or showing it to someone keep it locked.

There will always be officials on the stand to help prevent unwelcome activity but you need to look after your own property !

Unfortunately I don't own any classics (yet) but as the event is 500m from the house, I'll be strolling down to see all those machines on show!!
