My kids bought me one of these for fathers day because I have to go on a few long haul flights soon, the Mario game came with it but I'm not that much into those sort of games. I was advised to get Brain Train but does anyone recommend any other games that would suit me?

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is a great puzzle, point and click adventure game. Without knowing anything about you it's hard to recommend a game. What games did you play (if any) back in the day on other consoles?

I'd recommend any of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney games, they are a lot of fun, with sometimes fierce difficult puzzles! :)

Planet Puzzle League or Meteos are really cool puzzle games aswell.

I have The World Ends With You - and I'm totally addicted to it. It's the best reviewed DS game I've come across.

Here's what I'd recommend for ya Finbar, love The World Ends With You as well but its not a game for a dad I wouldnt reckon. Personally I found Hotel Dusk crazy boring! Anyways heres my picks:

    Tetris DS
    Brain Training 1 or 2
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (import only) - mystery puzzle game
Advance Wars: Dark Conflict - strategy war game, addictive
    Picross DS - puzzle game
    Planet Puzzle League
42 All Time Classics - darts, card games etc
Phoenix Wright - tongue in cheek lawyer game
Trauma Centre - tongue in cheek surgeon game
Zelda Phantom Hourglass - maybe not your thing but probably the best on the DS
