    I've a different approach, but then I get different results:)

    It's interesting though.

    A wide angle to standard lens is certainly more effective than a telephoto zoom. I'd be a tad more into respect ( though that may be my failing) and certainly the comment on ethics gets up my nose.

    Worth watching though.

    T.

    Ps The Baz takes mainly different stuff as far as I know :confused:

    @Gwertz

    I doubt he'd get more digs in Dublin than New York to be honest.

    damn , i'd pack it up if i had to go around firing flashes at people -- he's surprisingly in Magnum , but i think he breaks Cartier's and Magnum's philosophy of, dignity for people , Cartier was discreet , and preffered not to be seen . Certainly wouldn't make you very popular , not that he seams to care

    I seem to be missing the point.

    Is this one of the cases where the person got famous more for the method/location than the resultant photographs?

    Well, it looks more like street performance than photography.
    I don't like this approach at all.

    +1

    Halfway through the video somebody gives out to him and he replies "I didn't think you owned the street". Yet it seems to me that Gilden thinks he does, I'd be pissed if somebody came over to me and burst a flash in my face!!

    From that short piece I have to say I really dislike that man.Extremely rude method and completely disrespectful.It's obviously this guys lack of ethics which allows him to harass the public like that:mad:

    His pictures just seem to be a bunch of people with a surprised expression on their faces.
