pro evo 08 kit updates wont work

    I have a couple of Kits for this on my memory stick, and have them stored correctly under PS3 and SAVEDATA folders. i have put them on the hard drive of the ps3 as instructed by all the mags. However i cant seem to get them to work on the game. i got the kits off discs from mags and from the internet, in the mags it says all you have to do is start any game and the cheats/or game saves will appear. But i have went into edit players/kits and even the update option in gane menu which updated for a few minutes from 0-100%(what it updates i dont know), but nothing worked.
    Does anyone know how to get these onto the game?

    This might help i bought one of these updates off ebay and got a step by step guide with it, all the files were extracted to a folder called "PS3" before hand.

    "7. Now plug your USB stick or whatever medium it is you're going to use to transfer the files to your PS3, into your PC. Goto 'My Computer' and locate the drive.
    8. Copy and past the folder ‘PS3’ in to your USB Drive/Disc


    9. Now close down all your open windows etc. and remove your USB stick. Insert the USB stick into one of the USB slots on the front of your PS3. On your PS3 go to the GAMES menu and scroll up to 'Save Data Utility' and press

    10. You should now see a list of your save games. Scroll up and you should see your USB drive listed. Highlight it and press

    11. You should see some PES2008 data. You now need to highlight each one and press then from the menu choose 'Copy'. This will copy the data to your HDD. You may be prompted to overwrite, just accept. Note: doing so will erase any edits you had made in the game. Repeat for each item that is listed on your USB stick. Once done keep pressing till you're back at the 'Games' menu.

    12. Boot up PES2008

    i have done all that and when i boot up pro evo 8 theres no sign of any kits.
    I tried the kits off the net and the kits off mag discs, i have about 8 of the copied to hard drive, but just dont seem to appear in game????

    Get the ps2 version! It's better and easier to update!
