Dell Vostro 1500 8 in 1 card reader problem

Guys, since I got my Vostro 1500 last year I have never been able to insert any memory card such as Pro Duo, SD, XD into the 8 in 1 memory card slot on the side of the laptop. Does anyone know what cards it actually accepts?
