I am currently a Vodafone prepay and would like to switch to Meteor keeping my same number. All my friends and fellow employees use Meteor so switching saves me a bundle but i have a few Questions

Do i have to pay any money to switch to Meteor?
Does it take long for activation?
Is any credit given when you transfer?
Can i go to any Meteor store and switch?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Back Prince

It depends. If your phone is unlocked, and you want to keep it, just buy 10 or 20e worth of credit and Meteor will give you a sim card. They will transfer your number for you. It's normally done within 2 hours. You currently get 40e credit sent to you when you stay on the network for 60days, and 10e a month for 6 months when you top up by 20e a month once you register the sim. Any Meteor store can do this.

porting is easy, just pick up a meteor sim free and buy 20 meteor, ring meteor on 1905 and ask to port ur number to them, they'll ring ur number to verify your who u say u are and u should be over in under two hours.free credit depends on if u top up every month

    phone must be unlocked

can't use another network unless it is, if you have been with voda for long enough to have spent +€100 credit should just be a matter of a phone call to customer care to get the NAC.

well dude, just saw your msg in the unlock section. It isn't possible to unlock your phone by code generation but if you log into my vodafone and once your're signed in in the left hand section where it says my mobile scroll down and click on NAC. then GET NAC. if you registered your phone for free credit your imei should appear but check this by pressing *#06# 35..... tick send by sms and you should have your code in minutes maybe quicker;) if u didn't register it you'll need to ring VF on 1850208787. Hope this helps;)
