I went paintballing last week and since i woke up the next morning i have had muscle cramps in the femur (upper leg) at the front. It is really sore to sit and get up as when i bend my legs it hurts really bad. It seems to be getting worse. I have tried stretching, bathing it, deep heat and walking on it but nothing seems to help. I can hardly walk without feeling like a 90year old man :(

Any suggestions apart from the above. I won't go to the doctor just yet because i don't think it's that serious and he won't be able to do much. Is there any other ways i could help it. I have never heard of cramps lasting this long. It seems to be worse now in my right leg which makes no sense.

    Anyway, please help.

Is there and bruising? Make sure you keep an eye on the size of the bruise, if it is growing in size you should probably go to your gp.

If it goes on for much longer without improvement you will have to see your doctor.

Just take some ibuprofen and keep heat on it but don't burn yourself!

sorry folks - no medical advice - the differential for what this is is quite broad and can only be diagnosed by a doctor or physio.
