Ok so i was hoping rte would have at least web coverage of Kerry v CLare but there is nothing. Bit annoyed about this. Why could they not show is on the web, TV3 show or something. To be fair while it prob won't be the greatest game this year, Kerry are still champions and should get air time. Kilkenny are playing offaly and it's shown.

I doubt the Kilkenny Offaly match will be any more competitive then the Kerry V Clare game. ( no offense intended).

So would any of ye bother tuning in if it was shown

I voted that i would prefer to watch it on tv but that would be subject to me not travelling the 10mins walk to the GAA pitch to watch it live.

Tune into RadioKerry if you can't watch it and listen to gud auld Weeshie Fogarty in action instead ... Certainly like no-other GAA match commentator :)

I think there was an expectation that Offaly would give KK a better game than they did. It was awful stuff, and Kerry-Clare while one-sided could hardly have been any worse.

Limerick-Cork seems to have been a decent game. Personally I mainly watched Cavan-Armagh with bits and pieces of KK-Offaly thrown in. Thought Kerry would wallop Clare worse than they did, although Kerry are usually in stroll mode for these first round games anwyay. I've no doubt Kerry could beat Clare by more than 12 points if they really wanted to.

What did people think of Paul Galvin? An absolute disgrace IMO.

Yeah a complete disgrace neither the Clare player or Galvin should have been booked:D

Was at the game, and fair enough, it was a poor standard. Kerry were not at their best and Clare didnt have enough in the forward line to match the good work by their midfield and backs.
Still there was plenty of talking points, and i made sure I was home in time for the sunday game. I also wanted to see how the Limerick match panned out. I was very disappointed to see a total of less than 5 minutes of footage devoted to both games. Most of which was archive footage on the Cork strike. I especially wanted to see the Declan O'Sullivan injury.
I think the two All Ireland finalists deserved a bit more coverage.

As for Galvin, Silly and stupid thing to do, regardless of any percieved injustices he may of felt

That keano-a-legend is one misconception people have about it ... He was standing alongside the ref and was being booked again (and this time for something that was NOT his fault) and in the heat of the moment he knocked the book out of the ref's hand ...

He was NOT booked for knocking it out of his hand; that happened after the ref decided to book him again for something that wasn't his fault
