    I had trouble with last.fm yesterday aswell. You can also listen to it at http://www.sigurros.com
    Last half of the album is better in my opinion. Great stuff.

    Just had a quick listen to it yesterday and I was very happy with what I heard. Some of the songs definitely don't sound like Sigur Ros songs but I love their new sound(Especially Gobbledigook). Whats with the title though, anyone know what it means?

    It's a lot more straightforward rock than usual. Not sure how I feel about it, it's all very listenable but will it have the longevity of their older work? Only time will tell.

    Well look who the cat dragged in. I've only listened to whatever the two songs on last.fm are.

    Love the second one. Can't wait to hear the full thing.

    If it is more listenable that's a great question re: longevity.

    Yeah, I've been lost in the wilderness for a while!

    Just finished listening and overall, I'm disappointed. I was with Takk too and that grew on me a lot but I think I'm more disappointed with this one, especially after the brilliant DVD and 2CD set from last year. Someone on another forum described this album as Coldplay in Icelandic and I might have to side with them. Unfortunately.

    Just watched the video for gobbledigook, very nice ;)
    Don't think they'll be showing that on MTV or if they do it'll just be one big blur

    total first listen impression.......

    seems throwaway and lacks the epicness and pure emotion of takk
    it took me by surprise how different it is,

    i need to listen again to make a better judgement,

    Another brilliant Sigur Ros effort...wonder if they'll play extra dates here - in addition to Electric Picnic?

    Sigur Ros in the Olympia in Nov 2005 was one of the finest gigs EVER!
