Black deer??

hi all, at work today (I work for bord na mona at the moment), driving through the bog, i came a cross a group of around 10 deer, one if them was totally black! i was lucky enough to sneek up on them and get a few pics of them (they are not great quality). ive never seen or heard of a black deer before, are they common?

Thanks for sharing the pictures .Black deer arent that unusual nor are they that common.

It could have been a sika deer, they're pretty dark in colour with a white tail.
