Skype phone advice

We are looking into getting a Skype phone. We would like one that you don't need to have the computer on all the time so we thought that the Phillips 841 cordless phone would suit us best.Has anybody got this phone? If so, are you happy with it or are there others that you can recommend? Thanks in advance!

Moved to VoIP.....you'll probably get a better response here although you'll get a good response in Nets & Comms too, VoIP is better suited to this.

i've got that phone and am very happy with it. we got it about 6 months ago and it works fine. unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a lot of choice with regards to wireless skype phones, so not sure what the competition offers these days.
