I have to build a media centre for someone with MS. They are in a wheelchair and can't use there hands very well. I was thinking about setting it up with some sort of blue tooth microphone that they can hang around there neck and use the TV and radio through Vista MCE?

does anyone have any experience in this field?

Any help or advice would be great.

???I own the site??? I am asking for some advice. I was hoping there might be people in Ireland that can recommend wireless microphones etc specifically for disabled people.

There is no point in just buying a platronics headset that will irritate the person because they would have to wear it all day.

relax, a nubie that looks like he is pimping a site will get no end of abuse on any forum, you have to become a suscriber to get it changed

any bluetooth hands free device will work as a headphone/microphone on a pc that its paired with, you might have to go into sounds in control panel to tell it to use the bluetooth mic instead of the system default, i have a SE one that i keep forgetting to take off, so doubt it would be anoying to anyone

ye I noticed that. I was planning on using Vista voice activation but am not sure how well it will work because her voice is weaker some days than others. I can't just buy a generic head set because she will have to uses it all day and can't take it off. there doesn't seem to be many sites that sell stuff for people with disibilities.
