Yesterday I noticed this weird shadow moving up and down the edge of my monitor(it's an LCD).

Thought it might have been mobile phone interference acting oddly, moved all mah phones away, turned it off and back on. Then I noticed the shadow moving again. After about 15mins the shadow started branching off across the screen, zig zagging, moving up and down and sometimes just sitting there. Pressed the screen where it was and it took off for the sides before stopping moving again.

Yup, I have a spider in my monitor thats behind the panel leaving a shadow as it moves across it and I have no way to get it out :D I hope it isnt up the duff, this could get much worse!

    What should I name her?

Turn the Gamma on your screen as high as it can go.
    Spiders don't have eyelids.

    That should fix your problem.

If she dies and leaves a beautiful corpse, my monitor is left with a lovely shadow thats never going away.

Did I mention its a fairly expensive LCD and I'm broke? :D

How cruel! What's the unfortunate spider going to live on inside yore monitor ? Slim pickin's in there, I reckon ... poor arachnid will be lucky to last the weekend :(

How did the spider get in ? You'd think he'd get bored after a while, and wander back out again.

Find a video clip of a sudden shower, followed by bright sunshine. Play it on a loop. For some time.
When the sun dries up all the rain ... maybe you'll be OK.

This is known as the Incey Wincey technique.

personally Id do a warranty claim on it: they sold you a screen and theres a fecking spider in it - their fault.

    Spiderror ftw.

You could start your own society inside your monitor. You might even get it right this time.

Citizens of Spidrax Prime, Hear me now! :D

Your thinking about it from the spiders point of view. That's weird.

I think from the shoe point of view. Will said lovely shoe be besmirched with spider goo when I eliminate it? Will I have to replace said monitor that has been bashed in by a lovely shoe?

I'm sorry, but we need to keep level heads with this issue.
