    Hi

I'm planning on running the Dublin marathon this year. I have done this and a number of others before. I'm looking for a training group/partner to do my long runs with. In the past I've trained with a couple of friends and my club but this year nobody seems to be aiming for Dublin. The same thing happened to me last year and I lost a little focus with nobody to train with and it cost me on the day.

I'm planning on running sub 2.50 so anybody planning running 3hrs or quicker would be ideal. I'm building my long runs up slowly and from he start of July I'll be at 14 miles and will add a mile a week on average so I should get a few 20's in as well. I also plan on running the addidas race series as well as some other races. I'm based in Dublin and normally do my long run in the Phoenix park but I'm pretty flexible about this.

If anybody is interested or has any suggestions they can PM me.

    Thanks

might also be worth posting this on the runireland forums. They get a lot of run specific traffic through there.

    Hi Roadrunner,
I'd be interested in doing a few long runs. I do most of my runs in the Phoenix Park.
I'm not doing Dublin but I'm training for a marathon at the end of September.
I'm up to 10 miles this weekend. I plan to run on Sunday in the park if that suits?
What pace are you setting on your long runs?
