When updating your DPP or other canon bundled software would it be better for me to just install the latest version, skipping the updates inbetween the version I have now and the latest one or just to Update from the version I have now to the next one and so on and so forth until I am downloading the most currrent version?

I only have DPP 2.1 installed currently.

there's no harm in skipping a few versions, I recently updated from 1.6 to 3.4.1 - works perfectly, less opportunity for complication.

I assume that the most recent updates for all programs offer the best solution.
Perhaps others have a different experience.
