Dealextreme delivery issues.

    Hello ,I've been having some trouble with a deal extreme order. Basically from the start there was some issues.
    The payal site from dealextreme hadn't got a padlock on IE ,but it was a https site. Then after about 5 days I got a tracking number for an ICELAND delivery on the 26th of may.

    I've tried tracking the shipment both on ICELAND's postal site and An posts and there is no sign of it. I started a ticket with dealextreme about the issue ,because of their mistake and they have marked the issue as resolved.

    Should I bother contacting paypal ? ,the order is valued at about 35 euro.

    I would say yes, go to Paypal. DX marked the issue as resolved, when it clearly isn't, so it's time to go one step further.

    Was the tracking number you got for something that originated in Iceland, or something that was delivered in Iceland? I was pretty sure that everything from DX was sent out of Hong Kong.

    Sorry Jor el ,what I meant was the stuff was sent to iceland from hong kong instead of ireland. I told them immediately that it was not the correct address.

    I presumed at this stage the tracking number should have worked on icelands site or An posts site. I don't see why I should be out of pocket because they sent the stuff to iceland instead of Ireland.

    Should the tracking number not be used with whoever is shipping the package from HK, and not Icelandic or Irish postal service?

    Whenever you put the tracking id in ,an posts site shows the irish tracking number then. It looks like my delivery was lost along route ,because of a mistake made at the start.
