P45 with 2 jobs

    Im starting a new job Monday, the other firm i work with have my P45, do i need another P45 or what do i give to my new employer?

    I expect ill be on emergency tax in my new job without my p45 would i not?

    Your current employer can't give you a P45 because you are not finishing with them. You will need to give your PPS to the new employer to qualify for emergency tax credits which will last for 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks you will then be hit for 40% of everthing with no tax credit. You will have to talk to the revenue about getting your tax credits and standard rate cutoff split between the two jobs. This should result with each employer being issued with revised tax certs for you.
